Forestry mulcher BF 552
Our forestry mulcher – BF 552 is suitable for tractors from 150 to 250 hp. This model features a rotor with fixed teeth in a helical V-shape. This minimizes mulcher effort and ensures fine residue results.
Like all our mulchers, a hydraulic door and chain curtains reduce front and rear projections. The forestry mulcher – BF 552’s skids are made of Hardox® steel and are adjustable in three positions: + 45 mm / 0 mm / – 45 mm. So, depending on ground conditions, you can adjust the height of the skids to maintain the useful power of your mulcher.

Our forestry mulcher – BF 522 is available in different models, depending on the job in hand.
The reinforced model supports higher tractor power with additional belts, rotor shafts and larger bearings to cope with difficult working conditions.
The hydraulic model is installed on our Plaisance self-propelled machines. In the absence of a cardan shaft, the mulcher can be raised higher. If you are interested, please contact us to discuss the possibility of making your project a reality.
The US model features a rotor that is slightly higher than the protective door, making it easier to attack trunks. In all other respects, it is identical to the reinforced model.

Controlled production
For over 30 years, Plaisance Equipements has been offering single- and double-tipped carbide teeth for its forestry mulcher – BF 552. They are designed and assembled in our Lorraine-based factory, as are the holders to which they are attached. As a result, you can order them directly from our forestry store, and be delivered as quickly as possible, thanks to our in-line production and controlled inventory.
