Forestry mulcher BF 501
The tractor must have between 90 and 200 hp to attach our forestry mulcher – BF 501. You can use single or double carbide-tipped teeth on this model. This enables you to mulch fine or thicker vegetation, depending on your worksite.
As with all our mulchers, a hydraulic door and chain curtains reduce front and rear projections. What’s more, it’s equipped with Hardox® steel skids adjustable in three positions: + 45 mm / 0 mm / – 45 mm. Depending on ground conditions, you can adjust the height of the skids to suit your needs and maintain the useful power of your mulcher.

Depending on your needs, our mulcher is available in different models.
The standard model is built with all original components for clean work under normal conditions.
The US model features a rotor that is slightly further forward than the protection door, to make it easier to attack trunks.
Finally, the reinforced model accepts higher tractor power, with additional belts and larger rotor shafts and bearings to support work in difficult conditions. For the forestry mulcher – BF 501, the reinforced version can be added to the standard or US model.

Plaisance Equipements produces the double carbide-tipped teeth used on the forestry mulcher – BF 501. We manufacture them and assemble them to the holders, welded to the rotor, in our Lorraine factory. As a result, you can order these parts directly from our forestry store and receive them as quickly as possible, thanks to our production line and controlled inventory.
