Self-propelled machines

We offer a complete range of wheeled and tracked self-propelled machines. Our machines are designed with reliability, robustness and accessibility in mind. Our Variotrac and Galotrax are the self-propelled machines with the best power-to-weight ratio on the market.

We also offer tree trimmer self-propelled with a side or rear arm.

Some models are equipped with the Plaisance B-Series. The B-Series offers greater flexibility, comfort and productivity. It features exclusive PTO technology; two rotation speeds and no clutch, reducing the risk of rotor stoppage; and torque multiplication for increased working power.

Tracked – GALOTRAX

The advantage of our tracked self-propelled machines is their low impact on the ground. As a result, pressure is limited to allow the local flora to be disturbed as little as possible. We offer seven models with engine power ranging from 175 to 765 hp.

Wheeled – VARIOTRAC

Our range of wheeled machines includes five models, from 175 to 440 hp. Our Variotrac are self-sufficient for moving from one site to another. It is then possible to switch from 4 to 2-wheel steering to improve the machine’s maneuverability.

Tree trimmer self-propelled

PLAISANCE offers two tree trimmer self-propelled machines: SKYCUT and Variotrac 300R.

The SKYCUT is primarily designed for high-voltage line maintenance. It features a 25-meter fiberglass arm and a circular saw with rotating head.

The Variotrac 300R cleans shoulders and roadsides. Its versatility is characterized on the one hand by a side arm that can be fitted with a hydraulic forestry mulcher or a cutter bar. On the other, a PLAISANCE forestry mulcher is installed at the front.

30 years of innovation

Plaisance Équipements manufactured its first self-propelled wheeled vehicle 30 years ago: the Variotrac 300, which has become a key model in our range thanks to its power and compact size. High-end forestry mulchers

PLAISANCE ÉQUIPEMENTS offers a complete line of forestry mulchers designed to meet your needs. Each mulcher is equipped with fixed teeth featuring single- or double-point carbide tips, depending on your application.

Our mulchers are equipped, on both sides of the rotor, with bolted shafts, wire protection, and side teeth. These features make our mulchers robust and innovative, ensuring easy maintenance. They also guarantee maximum efficiency for all your projects.
