Forestry mulcher BF 401

Le broyeur forestier - BF 401 est le broyeur le plus petit de notre gamme.

Our forestry mulcher – BF 401 can be coupled to tractors from 70 to 160 hp. The teeth are fixed in a V-shaped helical position on the rotor. Thanks to these two features, mulcher effort is reduced and fine residues are obtained.

As with all our mulchers, a hydraulic door and chain curtains reduce front and rear projections. Our smallest forestry mulcher is designed for clearing land, removing slash between rows of plants, or creating and maintaining firebreaks.

FAQ

What is the difference between a gyro-mulcher and a forestry mulcher?

The gyro-mulcher is fitted with a power take-off on a vertical axis to drive blades or chains in a horizontal position. Conversely, the forestry mulcher is equipped with a horizontal PTO to turn a rotor with teeth on a vertical axis. The gyro-mulcher is ideally suited to clearing low-density vegetation in difficult conditions. Whereas the forestry mulcher – BF 401, for example, easily clears dense areas in all wet or dry conditions.

We build the forestry mulcher – BF 401, from the hammers to the rotor. After validating the mulcher with our sales representative, each part is machined, welded, assembled, and painted in our Lorraine-based workshop. As with all our mulchers, we sell both custom-built and standard models, so you can be quickly equipped in case of urgent need.

To clear a field full of brambles, stumps or other slash, use a forestry mulcher. With clean-cut teeth, clearing is easy. For this, fixed teeth fitted with one or two carbide tips are the elements to consider when buying a mulcher.
