The creation of the first mulcher have been realised over 30 years ago. Its advantages already are robustness and reliability. Today, they have become the definition of Plaisance Equipements.
1993 : launch of the first mulcher
To begin with, after much feedback from his customers, Mr Plaisance decided to manufacture his own forestry mulchers. He wanted to offer a product with greater robustness and reliability. And so, 30 years ago, the first Plaisance mulcher was born. What’s more, its production led to the production of Plaisance supports and teeth, all machined in the Lorraine region workshop.
Development of the Plaisance forestry mulcher range
At the same time as creating the first Plaisance self-propelled mulcher, the team perfected its forestry mulcher to meet the expectations of its first customers. In 1994, the first Variotrac 300 with its front mulcher left the factory. Then, as the range of self-propelled machines expanded, new mulchers were created to adapt to the dimensions of the tool carriers.
The Plaisance mulcher today
The Plaisance range now includes 9 forestry mulchers to suit tractors from 70 to 650 hp. We produce and assemble all parts in our 10,000 m² workshop: holders and teeth; frame; rakes… The advantage of complete on-site production is that our employees can quickly intervene on customer premises and easily solve the problem. However, after thousands of mulchers sold, interventions are rare, as our mulchers demonstrate their robustness and reliability.
