This week, discover the 9th testimonial: Mr Petit, a notable customer in the history of Plaisance Équipements, since he bought the first Variotrac 300, which left our workshop in 1994.
In 1983, Mr. Francis PETIT set up a company to carry out mainly forestry mulching work. He ordered one of our first gyro-mulchers in 1991. In 1994, he also ordered the very first self-propelled machine designed by PLAISANCE: a Variotrac 300. Other purchases followed over the years, both wheeled machines and tracked self-propelled machines. At the end, Mr. PETIT’s company invested in sixteen machines.
The Meuse-based company expanded in the wake of the storm that hit northern France in 1999. Its working area extends up to 100 kilometers, and even further in the case of large-scale projects. At the time, the company had seven employees.

With his keen eye for our products, we asked him which self-propelled machines he preferred. According to him, all machines are powerful and useful, depending on their intended use. If you are looking for power, the Galotrax 500 is the right choice. If you are looking for versatility, the Variotrac 500 is for you. Nevertheless, the entrepreneur’s favorite is still the Galotrax 300, which he considers to be exceptionally reliable.
Francis PETIT has been working with our brand for almost 30 years now. He renewed our partnership in 2014, when he decided to create SAS SAFOR to handle smaller jobs. He has kept a few tools from his first company: a VT 500, a VT 300, a BF 501R and a BF 500.
He also recently purchased one of our latest hydraulic forestry mulchers: BFH 301 MXcut.
We would like to thank Mr PETIT for his years of loyalty.
