Mr Page came to pick up his Galotrax 600B. We took advantage of his presence to ask him a few questions about his company and the use of the 3 Plaisance self-propelled machines. This is the 8th testimonial.

Mr. PAGE set up his company 20 years ago. He first started out alone with a forwarder, before moving into forestry mulching. Today, the company specializes in mulching, partitioning, and replanting. It employs a dozen people. The forestry company can be called on by cooperatives, sawyers, and forestry experts.
Located in the Loire department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, SAS Hervé Page also carries out large-scale projects in other forest regions (such as Castres, Limoges, Neufchâteau, Toulouse…).
Mr. PAGE is a fan of the Plaisance Équipements brand. He bought his very first self-propelled machine in 2008 (Galotrax 300 old version). He kept it for 6 months, as it was too small for the type of work he had to carry out. He then invested in a Galotrax 400 (6,000 hours worked in 5 years). Several tracked self-propelled machines followed.

At present, the company uses a Galotrax 450B, a Variotrac 500B and a Galotrax 600 (old range). Mr. PAGE confides that he particularly appreciates the Variotrac 500B as a complement to the tracked self-propelled machines. “The 500 with tires goes very well, for spruce trees it’s ideal. The advantage is that the tire moves faster, so it mulches faster.”
We asked him to choose a word to describe our machines: “Evolution”. Indeed, having owned several models from different ranges, the entrepreneur can confirm that our machines have evolved considerably over the last few decades.
Hervé PAGE also stresses the importance of after-sales service, which is of paramount importance to him. He claims to have a good relationship with the manager. That’s why the two companies have been working together for years.
Thanks to our customer for his testimonial!
